Lukas Strickling is quantitative analysis manager and has been with r2b energy consulting since 2020. 

His consulting work at r2b focuses on quantitative economic analyses, particularly in the areas of electricity and hydrogen markets, battery storage valuation, decarbonization strategies for industry and commerce, as well as control and balancing energy markets. Lukas is responsible for the development and expansion of our Decarbonization Optimization Model (DOM) as well as our BESS and hydrogen models and deals with modelling issues around GoO price forecasts and asset evaluations. As a project manager, he advises energy suppliers and industrial companies on strategic issues, roadmaps, and business development. 

Lukas was previously a working student at r2b since 2018. As part of his economics studies in Münster and Cologne, he specialized in energy economics issues. Lukas also gained valuable practical experience as a research assistant at the Institute of Energy Economics at the University of Cologne (EWI) and as an intern at Frontier Economics Ltd. in Dublin.
