Marius Holschbach is junior consultant and has been with r2b energy consulting since 2024.  

His focus at r2b includes qualitative and quantitative analyses of load data in the field of energy system modelling. In addition, Marius provides expertise regarding green hydrogen in various consulting projects for public and private sector clients.  

Previously, he worked as a working student at BBH Consulting AG in multiple projects on the integration of sustainable hydrogen into the German and European energy system. During his master’s degree in Renewable Energies at the University of Applied Sciences Cologne, Marius focused on the potential applications of hydrogen technologies in a future energy system. As part of his master’s thesis at Argonne National Laboratory (USA), he developed a model-based forecast of CO2 emissions from a grid-powered electrolyser. During his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Siegen, Marius also gained valuable practical experience at Mercedes-Benz AG in the field of research and development of combustion engines and at Evertz Hydrotechnik GmbH & Co. KG in the field of manufacturing and quality control.
